The Mission
Christ Our Shepherd exists to form a people who live under the gentle rule of Jesus, shaped by His Word and Spirit, and sent into the world as a faithful presence of His goodness, beauty, and truth.
The Vision
Christ Our Shepherd is an Anglican church plant forming a people under the leadership of Christ to become faithful, mature disciples who endure and bear lasting kingdom impact. We exist to see people come to faith in Jesus, new churches planted, and our community transformed.
WHO WE ARE
We are a community learning to follow the voice of the Shepherd together. Rooted in the life of the Church through Scripture, sacrament, prayer, and shared life, we are formed not only for personal faith but for communal obedience and joyful mission.
We believe Jesus is restoring all things, and He is doing so through a people who remain with Him, become like Him, and are sent by Him. Therefore, we seek to be a church where disciples are formed deeply, worship is central, love is tangible, and mission is ordinary.
In Lebanon and beyond, we aim to embody the peace of Christ, seek the flourishing of our neighbors, and bear witness to the kingdom already breaking into the world.

OUR VALUES
These four values drawn from recurring themes in the Scriptures and the life and teaching of Jesus in the Gospels, are given to shape our imagination, form our habits, and guide our shared life. Words meant to steady us, reorient us, and send us forward in faithfulness for the years ahead.
LED BY THE GOOD SHEPHERD
AUTHORITY, DIRECTION & PRAYER
We believe that Holy Scripture is the Church’s only infallible authority, through which the Triune God continues to speak by the power of the Holy Spirit. As a people guided by the Good Shepherd, we seek to listen for His voice and follow where He leads in every area of life and faith. Receiving the Scriptures within the historic witness of Christ’s Church, we submit ourselves to God’s revealed truth with humility, trust, and obedience. (John 10:27; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Acts 15:28; 1 Timothy 3:15)

WE BECOME LIKE CHRIST BY ABIDING IN GOD
SACRAMENT, FORMATION & CARE
Christian formation is not merely about believing the right truths, but about being shaped into the likeness of Christ through worship, sacrament, prayer, and holy habits practiced within the life of the Church.
Through repentance, forgiveness, compassionate presence, and the steady practice of holy habits, Christ restores wounded people and draws them into a life of healing, holiness, and faithful participation in His Kingdom. (Matthew 11:29; Acts 2:42: Romans 12:1–2: Luke 24:30–32: Galatians 4:19; Psalm 23:1-3; Ezekiel 34:16; Matthew 11:28; Matthew 9:36; 2 Corinthians 1:3–4; John 4:1–42)

NO ONE FOLLOWS JESUS ALONE
COMMUNITY & GENEROSITY
The Church is not a collection of isolated individuals, but one people united as the Body of Christ under one Shepherd. Because Christ has welcomed us with grace and mercy, we practice hospitality toward others and seek to make the Church a refuge for weary and wounded people through compassionate care. As members of one body, we gladly serve one another with the gifts, resources, and callings God has entrusted to us, building one another up in love and faithfulness. (Psalm 23:1-3; Ezekiel 34:16; Matthew 11:28; Matthew 9:36; 2 Corinthians 1:3–4; John 4:1–42)
